Welcome
Hello all, welcome to my online poker blog.
I've been playing on and off for a decade after being introduced by a friend.
I played regularly for a few years during the poker boom and had a decent record at the micros, particularly Rush and Zoom No Limit Hold'em games (here's one of my graphs).
Around 2012 I began a new career which involved immersing myself completely in study in my spare time, so I had little to no time for poker. However recently this burden has eased and so I have been gradually dipping back in.
I'm an amateur player who still hopes to some day beat the rake.

New stuff to learn
Right decided I prob won't play again today. Going to learn some charts instead yawn. Basically I want to know within which percentile each hand lies. eg T8s is in the top 20%, 97s is in top 30% etc. It would take a while to explain why I want to know this off by heart... It has to do with putting opponents on hand ranges and then knowing if our hand is good enough to shove/call. The simple explanation is that it will make short stack decisions much easier. Once I've achieved this - it may take a week or two since my memory is as much use as a chocolate teapot - I'm going to spend some time with the SNGWiz hand quiz and see if I can improve my average score which currently lies between 80% and 90% which is obv not good enough.
