Welcome

Hello all, welcome to my online poker blog.

I've been playing on and off for a decade after being introduced by a friend.

I played regularly for a few years during the poker boom and had a decent record at the micros, particularly Rush and Zoom No Limit Hold'em games (here's one of my graphs).

Around 2012 I began a new career which involved immersing myself completely in study in my spare time, so I had little to no time for poker. However recently this burden has eased and so I have been gradually dipping back in.

I'm an amateur player who still hopes to some day beat the rake.

Evenings play

bankroll 73.52. The slower format really made a difference for me this evening although the luck certainly picked up from this afternoon too. One winner, two seconds from the six. Another tournament I really threw my life away too. I'll post the HH here as a punishment but not tonight watching a movie with the family now. Just quickly... most of the play was really passive so was able to ramp up the aggro on the bubble and really grow the stack. Should be able to achieve good ROI in these so guess I'm going to wave tata to the turbos for now. Good luck at the tables.

  2. lol sorry mate will prob go back to the doubles but it seems much easier to get money in these - a little paradox considering less of the field is paid. The doubles are so tight and are obv strictly push/fold maths games; and there seems to be a distinct lack of fish in them now. But there's a healthy shoal in these games. Play seems just as poor in the longer format too which is nice. Lovely to fold 30 hands and have half the field left isn't it?
