Welcome

Hello all, welcome to my online poker blog.

I've been playing on and off for a decade after being introduced by a friend.

I played regularly for a few years during the poker boom and had a decent record at the micros, particularly Rush and Zoom No Limit Hold'em games (here's one of my graphs).

Around 2012 I began a new career which involved immersing myself completely in study in my spare time, so I had little to no time for poker. However recently this burden has eased and so I have been gradually dipping back in.

I'm an amateur player who still hopes to some day beat the rake.

Bit of a rush currently

Full Tilt Bankroll (BR) up to 446 today despite yet again running into an overset to mine lol. I've now realised how much money I was losing in 3-bet pots by playing fit or fold on the flop. Huge leak in my game... The last three sessions has seen me make a profit from the redline - the non showdown winnings. This is a huge step in the right direction for my game. I must be careful though and ensure I don't become exploitable. Another goal - mentioned before - is to learn hand ranges. PTracker shows how many hands opponents play/raise/3bet etc so it would be nice to be able to picture in my head the kinds of hands that are likely to fall into those boundaries. This can then lead to better flop decision making. Anyhow, all done now for the day and things going nicely. Nice to have some things going my way despite the sets losing me money! Good luck
