Tightened up and concentrating harder
So, played another 1000 hands or so tonight after doing all that analysis earlier. Have really concentrated and asked myself preflop whether that particular play is likely to be profitable in the current situation. It's led me to tighten up in general and to really try and think of opponents hand ranges. So for the first time in a while I won a couple of buy-ins. Got good value from a couple of river spots and pretty thin value bets. As far as my game goes, I truly believe that with a couple more years study I'll be a quality player. At the moment though I still make alot of mistakes and am likely not aggressive enough on flops. Despite the recent downswing my love for the game is undiminished and the maths and game facets fascinate me still. The fact that I'm learning so much from pokerazor and tools like it means I still have some distance before being the complete player. Here's to learning more and hopefully becoming that which I desire... a winning player. Cheers.
